Organic strawberries potentially linked to US hepatitis A outbreak

Check out your strawberries! Organic products caused an outbreak of Hepatitis A in the USA
A Hepatitis A outbreak has possibly been caused by organic strawberries.

The Hepatitis A outbreak in the United States and Canada has come under scrutiny from the Food and Drug Administration and other health and nutrition regulators.

The number of infections is potentially related to FreshKampo and HEB organic strawberries purchased between March 5 and April 25. Products hit the popular supermarkets.

Although strawberries have expired, the FDA advises those who have frozen the same strawberry products not to eat them and throw them away. In the US, there have been 17 infections and 12 hospitalizations, PEOPLE reports.
