'My heart kind of closed down': Craig David explains why he's still single at 40
Craig David reveals why he's not married or in a relationship by the age of 40. The R&B singer explained that for 20 years he sang songs about love, relationships and heartbreak, but he never became an "expert" at it.
As he admitted to The Sun, his longest relationship lasted two and a half years. Craig is ready to give himself completely to a new relationship, but has not yet found the very woman who will open his heart.
"I had that first heartbreak and it just went from a kid with his heart open, to all of a sudden it just crashed. I had never felt anything like that before. After my early childhood sweetheart break-up, my heart kind of closed down," the singer said.
