Joe Biden says he won't sign executive order tightening gun control
The president says he's not going to abuse the Constitution.

Joe Biden appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show and gave his opinion on the subject of gun control after several recent mass shootings in the United States. The president explained that he doesn't want to abuse Americans' rights and change the Constitution.

Biden, 79, said he supported the law banning the possession of assault weapons, which has been in effect since 1994, during which time crime declined. After Bush allowed the possession of rifles again, crime rose again.

But unlike Donald Trump, Biden has no intention of permanently changing the constitution, so there won't be a gun ban anytime soon.
